Knowledge translation pathway for policy

CDPA has recently been doing a fair bit of consultation on how to translate knowledge from disability research into the hands of policy makers.  Our ultimate goal is to seek change in the policy infrastructure to enhance accessibility and opportunities for people with disabilities.

We are excited to share an 8-step process, starting with identifying policy-relevant research findings, and ending with expressing what a project or organization can offer to policy-makers.  At each step, depending on the content area of research, Alliance partners may be able to assist in optimizing the impact of new research.

For more information, please view the pathway, share it with your research teams and partners, and call us if you think we can help.
